A single storey rear and side return extension to an Edwardian house in Winchester’s Hyde Conservation Area. The simple monopitch form provides a new kitchen and additional dining and family living space, plus a utility/shower room in the depth of the plan. The rear façade features a contemporary zinc ‘hood’ to provide shading, this is lined in timber cladding.
