Mead Road

St Cross, Winchester

A development of two contemporary courtyard houses which replace a former bungalow alongside the railway. Both houses are ā€˜Lā€™-shape in plan, which wrap around south facing courtyard gardens as an acoustic buffer. The high specification building fabric further insulates the houses both thermally and from the railway. The houses are finished in brown zinc, charred timber and cream brick.
