Winchester
A new two storey outbuilding which provides a replacement garage at ground floor and a flexible studio space above. The proposal adopts a traditional form to respect the surrounding Oram’s Arbour conservation area, which is executed with contemporary detailing and materials. The Siberian larch upper storey sits above a grey brick base. The interior of the studio is finished entirely with birch faced plywood and was designed in conjunction with Interior Designer, Emily Steer.
